I wanted to share my favourite Fairlady Z of the past few years. I am amazed at the quality of this car. It is simply superb and well worth the $101,000 that it was sold for!

What you are looking at here is a 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z 432. This car is one of only 420 ever made and they were only available to the Japanese public

The interior is absolutely spotless! The dashboard is beautiful with no cracks or scratches, the seats have been recovered and even the original wooden steering wheel and gearknob have been brought back to their former glory. Everything is in it’s rightful place and true to the original specification level of the Z 432. This can only be a great place to enjoy countless hours behind the steering wheel. Stunning!

The car has a twin exit exhaust fitted as per original specifications with original bumpers front and rear. The Z 432 rear spoiler has been restored with all the original badges still intact. Tail light lenses look great as well with good looking chrome. Simple but elegant.

I absolutely love this close up shot of the rear of the car. I love how the lighting plays up the intricate curves of the rear spoiler and tail light panel. Also notice the stickers on the rear window.

Now for the highlight of this car. The Z 432 name is derived from the motor that was fitted to these secific Fairlady Z’s. It stands for 4 valves per cylinder, 3 carburettors, 2 overhead camshafts, hence “432”. The engine is question is non other than the legendary Nissan S20 which is a DOHC 2.0 liter, 24 valve in-line six cylinder that created 160hp@7000rpm. It is fuelled by triple Mikuni-Solex 40 PHH carburettors which look and sound sublime. This has to be on of the most aesthetically pleasing engines ever produced.

Here is a photo to convey why I believe the Fairlady Z is one of the most timeless designs of all time…

The wheels that have been fitted to this car are unfortunately not the original Z 432 Magnesium rims but 14 inch Watanabe 8 spoke rims. They do look good in any event, but I just feel that a car of this calibre should rather have it’s original wheels on.

I would absolutely LOVE to have this car parked in my garage!

Hope you guys enjoyed this look at one of the most beautiful Fairlady Z’s currently around.
