I have been meaning to put this post together for the last 10 days, but have not had much time to be able to do so.
Even just keeping the blog up to date has been going pretty badly thanks to the outrageous amount of overtime I have been working sine the beginning of 2013… Hopefully I can try and turn things around a bit and get more Datsun awesomeness up here for you guys!
So without further adieu, have a look at some of the photos I took of my first ever motorsport event with my new DSLR… Enjoy it, and feel free to comment below, I love to hear your thoughts and opinions! 🙂
Let us start off with the Poulter families 1972 P510 1600SSS sedan:
This car is one of the neatest P510 race cars I have come across here in South Africa, running a fully worked L18 fuelled by 40mm Weber carbs.
Next up we have the Ratamang Supplies 140Y GX Coupe, another very well presented car:
Not too sure about the motor setup yet, but I am assuming either an L14 or L16, will try to find out next time…
Next we have a very neatly prepared B110 1200GX Coupe, here painted in a BRE-esque colour scheme, which I must admit looks pretty damn good on it:
I believe the car is running some form of A-series motor, most likely an A14 on sidedrafts…
Next was one of the other 3 B110 1200 Coupes that were racing, a sweet little white one covered in breast cancer stickers. I just love the metal fender flares!
Here we have a neat little B110 1200GX 4 door sedan:
Next up is the only 2 door B110 sedan that I know of that is used for racing here in South Africa. This is very rare, as this specific variation was not sold here according to my knowledge:
I will end this post with the SP Race Engineering 240Z, stunning looking thing:
I hope you enjoyed this post, stay tuned for the 3 features coming soon!
