PARTS FOR SALE:

On a side note…:

I am always in the market to buy and sell Datsun parts, mainly P510 spares, as long as they are in good condition and the price is right. I am also happy to market parts that you might want to sell, as long as I can make a few pennies off the deal for my time and effort… 🙂

Also, if you are looking for a Datsun specific part send me an email discussing what you are looking for. Maybe I can source it for you? I am willing to help wherever I can. 🙂

Hi, I live in Vancouver BC Canada. My name is Zubin. Up here the 510’s and 240z’s were all the rage. I have 50 yes approximately 50 original and new never used 45 amp alternators for sale. They are still in their Nissan / Datsun boxes. These alternators
, for their time had greater output . They are larger than the original street units but plug and bolt right into any 510, 6 series, 7 series, and Z cars that have an external regulator application. They are for sale. Any thoughts?

Your sight is neat. I used to live in safari country, specifically Uganda, and have always had the Datsun bug!
    Cheers, Zubin

First of all, awesome blog! Secondly, I’m considering finding a decent 280zx (I’m also in SA) and was hoping you could point me in a direction where I might find a decent example and if spares are available? It would need to be reliable 🙂 am I asking too much?

    Thanks
    Jason

      Hi Jason,

Thanks for the kind words about the blog, I appreciate it!

The best place for you to look is the classifieds websites here, and look for a car from the highveld as they much less rust than coastal cars for obvious reasons. 🙂

Spares are quite tough to get for them, however with some patience you can find what you are looking for.

      Hope that helps!

      Regards
      Jared
